For manufacturing

You have SOPs. Your stock still does not match.

Because checklists stop at the task. In a factory the material keeps moving after that — into a PO, a GRN, a production run, a dispatch. OpsDock runs both as one flow.

One process working in a week, or we keep going free.

Where it breaks in a factory.

Purchase approval sits for days

The order is ready. One signature is not.

The register never matches the godown

Someone has to remember to update it. Nobody does.

A QC failure with no trail

You know the batch failed. Not which step caused it.

Production plan lives in one Excel

One person maintains it. He is also on leave.

Half the order arrived

Nothing tracks the rest until a customer calls.

Money sitting as stock

You know your sales. You do not know your idle stock.

One system

Everything your business runs on, in one place.

One login instead of an attendance app, a WhatsApp group, three Excel files and a diary. Process flows — the Flow Management System (FMS) you keep in a sheet — checklists, stock, people and reporting, in one place.

And it starts without you: Someone presses Run · a form link is submitted · a row lands in a Google Sheet · another process finishes.

The part other tools skip

Inventory that a factory owner can actually use.

BOM

A saved recipe pre-fills what a job consumes. No one types the list again.

Batch & expiry

Balances split by batch. Printed batch number and MRP carried through.

Reorder point

Set per item, not one rule for everything. Order-up-to-max included.

Stock count

Physical count against the register, with the variance named.

Plan vs actual

Output, consumption and machine hours on every completed run.

Cash locked

What each item is holding, and what is sitting above max.

Questions factory owners ask.

Is this an ERP?
No, and it is worth being clear about that. An ERP is built around accounting and needs months of implementation. OpsDock is built around how the work actually moves — the process, the people doing it, and the stock it consumes. If you need statutory books and full financial consolidation, keep your accounting software. OpsDock sits where the work happens and feeds it.
Will this work if my floor staff are not comfortable with English or with apps?
The person on the floor sees one screen: the jobs assigned to them today, in order, with what to capture at each step. They tap, attach a photo or type a reading, and close it. There is no menu to learn. The complexity sits with whoever builds the process, not with whoever runs it.
Does stock actually update, or is it a separate entry someone has to remember?
It updates as part of the step. A production run consumes its inputs when the operator completes it, a GRN adds stock when goods are received, and dispatch takes it out. That is the whole point — the moment stock is a separate chore, it stops matching within a week.
Can it handle BOM and production runs?
Yes. A BOM template pre-fills what a job consumes so nobody retypes the list, and a production run records inputs consumed against output produced with the variance shown. Both are part of the manufacturing add-on rather than the base plan — see pricing for what sits where.
We run three units. Can I see them separately and together?
Yes. The same process runs at every unit, and you can look at one unit or compare them. That standardisation is the part that matters: until a process means the same thing at every plant, comparing them tells you nothing useful.
Does it do payroll or wage calculation?
No. Attendance, shifts, leave balances and on-time rates are all there, and you can export them — but OpsDock does not compute pay. If someone tells you their operations tool does payroll properly as well, ask to see it.
How long before something is actually running?
One process, working, within a week of the setup call — usually the one causing the most trouble, which in a factory is normally purchase approval or dispatch. If it is not running in a week we keep working on it free until it is.
The last thing

Your business should run without you. Let's make that happen.

You don't have to change everything at once. We start with your highest-pain process — working in a week.
